Music Worth Sharing

I always find accidentally some amazing songs and listen to it for days (okay, weeks). And if it is really good, i will listen to the whole cd. And if that is really good, i will develop a crazy obsession and do the whole dancing and singing in my room like crazy- thing.
So first i have to tell you that i like a lot of different types of music. Okay, i know probably everyone says that these days. It really depends on my mood, the weather and the time of the day. If i really like an artist, i will listen and appreciate to it for years and years to come.

Enter Shikari
This is one of my first loves. I won't tell you about all the uninteresting details about the band and their music. I will just tell you that i find this album unique. Take to the Skies never bores me. I've listened to it for since it came out (that must be a good 7 years now), and i still love everything about it. After this album it couldn't get better, so their next albums where not as magical, but as long as Take to the Skies is here, i am fine.
(The b-side of this album; the Zone is also pretty amazing. With some nice demo's and mixes.)

Patrick Wolf
If i could marry music, i would choose the music of this amazing and talented man. His lyrics are poets and his music is art. There is a lot of emotion in his songs and it contains pop and classical and folk and electronica and s/s and so on. Just amazing how he can let everything come together without getting one big mess, haha!

The Cure
Let me tell you something; you don't have to be a crazy 80's new wave goth to appreciate the crazy 80's new wave goth music! You probably all heard about the Cure somewhere. And you probably know the famous and great songs Just Like Heaven and Close to Me. But just take the time to listen to the (in my opinion) greatest album of the late 80's: Disintegration. It is a pretty heavy album i think, but with amazing sounds and lyrics. The album starts with Plainsong, a song that sets the whole mood of the album. Goosebumps...
